Note from Principal
Good Afternoon Running Brook Families ~

Thank you for another productive week of virtual learning. Students in grades 2 - 5 took the reading MAP assessment on Wednesday and put forth their best effort. We are proud of their hard work and dedication.

On Monday, October 12th, Running Brook Elementary will host a school-based learning center for 15 students. As a leadership team we have made the decision to focus on first grade students during this first wave of face to face instruction. All parents of the invited students have been contacted and we have been planning this for several weeks with tremendous support from central office staff. We have eight RBES staff members supporting this initiative as well as our administrative team. I look forward to providing day one highlights at our PTA meeting on Monday evening.

Have a wonderful weekend!
Anthony J Esposito, Principal

Weekly Related Arts Lessons
Each week students will have two or three live related arts classes. Throughout the week students should complete asynchronous assignments for the related arts classes they did not have live during the week. Wednesdays are a great day to complete these assignments. Students are not required to complete asynchronous assignments until they meet with their related arts teacher for the first time.

Technology Support
After receiving a Chromebook, families can use the directions for connecting a Chromebook to Wi-Fi to connect it to their home network. Students who forget their username or password can use the Account Self Service directions to retrieve their account credentials. A variety of common self-help resources can be found on the Student Technology Resources Canvas community. If you or your child has questions on how to use the technology to access instruction or is having technical issues, please email your child’s teacher or school administrator.
If you try the tips above and continue to have a difficult time with your device please complete the Running Brook Elementary technology support form. Please include your child’s grade level in the ID # section of the form.
