On January 17th, Running Brook will be holding it’s annual Fourth and Fifth grade Spelling Bee in conjunction with the Howard County Library Spelling Bee. The Running Brook Spelling Bee will be conducted during the school day. The winner of the school spelling bee and alternate will represent Running Brook in the County Spelling Bee to be held on the evening of Friday, March 16th at Howard High School. All Fourth and Fifth grade students received permission slips. Permission slips need to be signed and returned by November 3rd in order for students to participate. All participants will receive a list of words to practice at home. Participants will also be practicing in school.
