Running Brook has been invited to help register families for the following two December events: Calvin Ball's Toys for Tots and Free Bikes 4 Kidz. Read about each below and click the link to request registration. You will need to sign up for each event separately.
*Please note, these are not HCPSS sponsored events. We are asked to help register families by verifying that they have a student enrolled at our school.
Toys for Tots Registration
County Executive, Calvin Ball, will host his annual Toys for Tots Event.
We can refer Running Brook students and their siblings (ages 14 years and younger).
The distribution will be on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 9am-3pm at the Howard County Recreation & Parks Headquarters, 7120 Oakland Mills Rd, Columbia 21046. (Please note that this distribution event will be hosted in a drive-thru format.)
*Families must be referred for registration by their school - we are unable to verify any family who does not have a student enrolled at Running Brook.
If you are not receiving holiday assistance from another community resource, and would like us to refer you for registration, please complete the form using the link below.
Your request must be received by Wednesday, November 10th and submissions made after this date cannot be accepted.
2021 Toys For Tots Registration
You will receive an email confirmation with details about pick up once you are registered.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz 2021 Giveaway Day
Giveaway Day will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 at FB4K Head Quarters, 6100 Merriweather Drive, Columbia 21043. (Pick up time to be determined).
RBES students (and their siblings) can submit a request for a bike. These bikes are collected from the community and then cleaned, adjusted and repaired if needed, before being given out on 2021 Giveaway Day.
Please understand that filling out this request does not guarantee a bike. You will be informed if matched with a bike. Your request must be received by Wednesday, November 10th and submissions made after this date cannot be accepted.
Recipients and a responsible adult need to be present at bike pick up and will be responsible for transporting their bikes home.
