All 3rd and 5th graders will take the CogAT test. CogAT (Cognitive Abilities Test) is given to 3rd graders for possible placement in 4th GT math next year and 5th graders for possible placement in GT English, Social Studies, Science, or Math in middle school next year. Results will be mailed home. There are 3 sections: verbal, non-verbal, and quantitative.
