Family File – Emergency Contact Information
The Family File needs to be updated for EVERY student EVERY year!
It is very important that a Family File Form is updated for EVERY STUDENT. Students who do not have one updated will not be able to participate in any Field Trips. We currently have 298 students that do not have one completed, 59% of our student body. If you have not updated one for your child(ren) please do so today. You can access the Family File via HCPSS Connect . If you need help, please call the school and Mrs. Ott or Mrs. Kwon will be glad to help you. A copy of the reference guide will be sent home with students today. If you do not have access to a computer you can visit the school to use one in the office.
Thank you to the 41% that have updated the Family File.
Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS)
HCPSS participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs which provide families with significant benefits to help save money. Qualification is based on family size and income, and enrollment is confidential. All children in households receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can get free meals regardless of income, and students from households that meet federal income guidelines are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals. Those eligible for reduced-price meals pay $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. Families must submit a new application every school year. Please submit only one application per family. Click Here to apply online. You will need your students ID number. A paper application was sent home on September 7th.

Each Friday during the school year, students supported by the Blessings in a Backpack Program are given supplemental food to ensure that they do not go hungry over the weekend. We are hoping to be able to offer this program to all qualified RBES students.
It costs approximately $100 per student to provide food for the thirty-eight-week school year, but any donation amount is truly appreciated. All money raised will be used to feed our RBES kids.

Donations can be made online or by check.
